I am interested in how space is produced rather than represented.
My practice grew from a love of drawing and architecture, and from a longing for connection and belonging shaped by my formative years on the Canadian prairies. Using digital technology, I extend drawing into movement, three-dimensional space and close inspection, both internal and external.
Now based in London, I make large photographic prints of constructed images. Post-war housing, supermarket staples and the tools of digital capture compete within each one, in an almost obsessive correction of architecture that pushes human traces out of the built environment. I use those tools against their intended purpose, and ask what remains of the human within systems of ordering.
I received my MA in Fine Art from the Cambridge School of Art in 2023.
